ORKS exit Group A in last place after losses to Vitality, Astralis, and Grayhound.
Grayhound defeated ORKS in the Last Chance Stage of ESL Pro League S18 in a three-map affair. They lost the first map of Mirage (12-16) before putting up a wall on the Nuke defense (16-10) to tie up the scores. The decider was Ancient, where Alistair "aliStair" Johnston and company fought back from 10-14 down to secure an overtime victory and eliminate ORKS from EPL S18.
The victory means that the Australian squad stay alive in Malta, with their next test coming against the loser of the match between Astralis and FURIA on Sunday.

Despite getting the victory, Grayhound weren't happy with their performance in the match. "I don't even feel that good to be honest, hopefully we can turn it around for the next games, we suck balls," said an honest Declan "Vexite" Portelli in the post-match interview.
On the other side of the server, this is the end of the road at EPL for ORKS. The majority-Polish roster showed some encouraging signs in their match against Grayhound but fumbled too many post-plant situations that eventually cost them their tournament life.
The series started on Mirage, where the Polish underdogs had a wonderful start to their offense and went 9-2 up before Grayhound gathered some momentum and reduced the deficit to 10-12. The Polish side then switched up their defense by deploying a double-AWP setup, and Patryk "olimp" Woźniak and Łukasz "mwlky" Pachucki found several openings that helped them secure the map.
Next up was Nuke, where Grayhound dominated their CT side from start to finish on their way to a 16-10 victory, forcing out the Ancient decider.
The teams were unable to be separated in regulation on the decider, as Grayhound fought back from 10-14 down by winning two disadvantageous retake situations on the B site. That gave them the momentum to string four straight rounds in overtime and win the map 19-15, keeping themselves alive for the final day of competition in Group A.
