hasteka contributed to TheMongolz's qualification to the Paris Major

The MongolZ have announced Chinguun "⁠hasteka⁠" Bayarmaa's departure from the roster, bringing to a close his four-month stint with the Mongolian squad.

The move comes just three days after the team's elimination from Perfect World Arena Premier League Season 5, which resulted in The MongolZ missing out on a spot at the upcoming CS:GO Asia Championships.

TheMongolz replace Bart4k and Annihilation

The 25-year-old joined the squad in March while they were still representing IHC to replace Tengis "⁠sk0R⁠" Batjargal on the lineup. They were big shoes to fill as his predecessor had been the The MongolZ's highest-rated player in the months leading up to the change.

hasteka was by far the lowest-rated player for The MongolZ over the last three months as he only registered a 0.86 rating across all competitions. Despite his statistical shortcomings, the rifler contributed to the team's qualification runs for the BLAST.tv Paris Major, BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023 Americas, and IEM Cologne's group stage.

The MongolZ now have a month to find a replacement for hasteka before their next scheduled appearance at the BLAST Fall Showdown, where they'll compete against the likes of Complexity and Imperial for a spot at BLAST Fall Finals.

I mean, Kaze is turning 30 so it’s expected that his level drop off at some point. I think Kaze is the goat asian awper, even over xccurate. DANK1NG didn’t have a long enough career in GO to surpass Kaze, but he definitely has the potential to do so. Even then, Kaze has been playing pretty well recently. I remember he had a 1.03ish rating a couple months ago, and is now up to 1.16. Insane talent imo.

This entire comment section proves how dumb the average HLTV user is. Mongolz changing up their roster now just means they wont ever be as huge contender again as they just were. Doesn't matter that Hasteka wasn't playing as well as hoped for, what they had worked, be it the synergy, chemistry or whatever. this has to be the dumbest comment in this entire news thread. And no, it did not work in the end. Hasteka LITERALLY cost the entire team not one, but TWO qualifiers. The second one, hasteka singlehandedly cost them the game against Lynn Vision, which they never recovered from. And hasteka has been a massive liability since his joining. There is no synergy when you have someone literally costing you rounds and then the entire game.
