ENCE, FURIA, Imperial secure BLAST Fall Showdown invites

Five more spots remain up for grabs in the two regional BLAST Fall Showdown brackets.

ENCE has been invited to the Showdown

BLAST have announced the invited teams for the BLAST Fall Showdown, starting on October 4. The tournament will be split into two single-elimination eight-team brackets, and the winners of each one will earn a spot at the $425,000 BLAST Fall Final held in Copenhagen.

ENCE have been chosen as the invited team for the European bracket, where Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer and company will be joined by G2, BIG, and OG, alongside four qualified teams.

FURIA and Imperial received invites for the Americas/Rest of the World bracket that now has only one more undecided spot, which will go to the winners of Ace North American Masters Fall. The Brazilan duo will fight with the likes of Complexity, Fake Natty, and Evil Geniuses for the coveted Fall Final spot.

The tournament organizer has also announced that Liquid will play in the Americas/Rest of the World Showdown due to the details for the tournament being finalized before the team transitioned to a European core. BLAST's press release also states that Liquid's spot as a BLAST North American partner team is subject to change in 2024.

You're also kind of overlooking a certain team there. FURIA is Liquid's biggest threat but the one right behind them is TheMongolz, who has shown that they do have capability of keeping up with EU opposition.
