NEOFRAG replaces Dytor on ECLOT

The Czech rifler finds a new home after abruptly parting ways with Into the Breach in August.

ECLOT have announced the addition of Adam "⁠NEOFRAG⁠" Zouhar to their starting roster. The Czech rifler joins as a replacement for Martin "⁠Dytor⁠" Handl, who was moved to the bench on September 12 but will continue to play for the team in their ongoing run through ESEA Advanced Season 46.

The move marks NEOFRAG's first team since his sudden removal from Into the Breach in August. The 22-year-old played under the British organization's banner for just three weeks until the two parties parted ways following what Into the Breach described as "unequivocal breaches of our morals and company standards."

ECLOT will nonetheless be hoping that the addition of NEOFRAG, who made a number of Big Event and Major appearances with OG from May 2022-July 2023, can help the team in their climb up the world ranking.

The Czech-majority team notably won European Pro League Season 9 and recently reached their peak of No. 40 on the world ranking, but have since failed to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 18, which would have been their first time at a Big Event.

"Although we have had good results recently in the form of winning the title at the last Tipsport CS:GO Bratislava, there is still room for improvement... We have several important events coming up and our ambitions are the highest, so we decided to put Dytor on the substitute bench. However, he will play the rest of the season for us in ESEA Advanced," began Jiří Plevka, ECLOT's team manager, in explaining the change in personnel.

"We needed a change and to bring new energy to the team, and NEOFRAG was the logical choice and we are happy that a player of his quality will represent our team."

"I got an offer from ECLOT, so I thought 'Why not give it a try?' I think it's a win-win for both me and ECLOT," NEOFRAG said. "I didn't receive any offers from international teams and it would be wrong of me to just stay at home and do nothing for the rest of the year."

ECLOT are currently scheduled to compete at the Slovak National Championships on September 28-October 1, a domestic LAN competition which will notably feature SINNERS and Sampi.
