Jerry returns to action with PARIVISION

The Russian in-game leader has re-united with xsepower as he begins a new project from the ground up.

After three months on the sidelines, Jerry has a new team to lead

PARIVISION have entered Counter-Strike with a team featuring ex-FORZE duo Andrey "⁠Jerry⁠" Mekhryakov and Bogdan "⁠xsepower⁠" Chernikov. The IGL-AWPer duo played together for 1097 days in FORZE, a stint which launched the career of Jerry and culminated in a second-place finish at BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019.

Jerry's new project arrives after he announced in June that he was "ready to move on" from FORZE after six years at the helm of the organization. On HLTV Confirmed, Jerry said that he had received international offers but had wanted control over the personnel and overall vision of his new side, which lent itself to a new Russian-speaking project.

Jerry: "You will find out [about my new roster] on September 15"

25-year-old xsepower is the oldest out of his new teammates, something Jerry hinted at when he said that he might want "an experienced sniper," such was the importance he placed on the role in the current meta.

The core rifling trio has less of a proven track record, in keeping with the profile of "young players who are ready to grind" that Jerry was looking for. Andrey "⁠BELCHONOKK⁠" Yasinskiy, a 1.06-rated rifler who is still yet to play in a HLTV-recorded LAN, is an example of that as he joins from Nemiga with xsepower.

The team is rounded out with the former K23 duo of Daniil "⁠X5G7V⁠" Maryshev and Konstantin "⁠Raijin⁠" Trubarov, who were put up for sale at the Kazakhstani organization as they began a rebuild of their own. They are also ex-teammates of xsepower, playing alongside him for K23 at the Road to Rio RMRs.

The final piece is coach Gregory "⁠balblna⁠" Oleinick, who is most notable for playing in the Quantum Bellator Fire side that finished top-eight at ELEAGUE Major 2018 in Boston.

I am just amazed how TSM was in a market for a CS GO team for almost a year and ended up with the roster they have (rooting for interns though). I also think it is unfair to players to judge them for playing for a bookie team.

I know they are decent, but they are far from stars. There is nothing like shalfey or zorte on this team, at least from what they've shown till now. But then again, both shalfey and zorte were nothing special till they underwent Jerry's guidance so who knows, I trust the process.

I would say take a chance on a player like Easy. The CS scene needs to grow everyone is just starting to get recycled. Shit even anarkez knows Russian give him a chance. Xsepower has been given so many chances and just doesn’t look good. But I’m no coach,igl or even pro for that matter

on hltv confirmed jerry kept praising xsepower, i think mostly because of his longevity and experience in pro cs, so there must be something behind the scenes (hard work ethic or smth) that we viewers cant see, but something jerry clearly sees

If Jerry manages to make this team as good as his previous line ups, at least for tier 2 level, then that just confirms that C9 had missed out on such a great opportunity to have him as an igl in place of hobbit, with electronic concentrate more on his own individual game rather than calling. It's good to see xsepower with some real team, I thought this guy was weirdly forgotten about while I think he defienietly has the potential to be one of the best CIS AWPers, BELCHONOKK also looked pretty good in this Nemiga lineup, decent aggressive piece, honestly, I feel like Jerry as an IGL is pretty overhyped, I watched a lot of FORZE and they really didn't play any tactical style, and I was not impressed with Jerry for the last couple of years I feel like, I don't understand this K23 duo pick-up, this team has been terrible and they didn't stand out, they were just bad players in this team, overall, I'm happy for xsepower, but I doubt this team can have success tbh. Even in Tier2.
