IEM Sydney playoff bracket set

G2 and MOUZ will start on opposite sides of the bracket in the semifinals.

The IEM Sydney playoff bracket has been decided following the group stage's conclusion. BetBoom, Complexity, ENCE, and FaZe will enter the playoff stage in the quarter-finals, while G2 and MOUZ have already booked their places in the semi-finals by topping their respective groups.

IEM Sydney action will return on Friday with the $250,000 tournament's four-team quarterfinals. BetBoom and Complexity will take the stage first in a battle between two underdog teams who are yet to face each other in an official match.

The second quarterfinal will see ENCE face off against FaZe in a high-octane matchup. The teams have played three times in 2023, and ENCE have lost just one map against Finn "⁠karrigan⁠" Andersen and company. A major caveat, though, is that those matches were in Global Offensive and not the version of the game played in Sydney, Counter-Strike 2.

G2, who topped Group B, await on the side of the bracket that features BetBoom and Complexity. MOUZ, who won Group A despite using Bram "⁠Nexius⁠" Campana in place of Jimi "⁠Jimpphat⁠" Salo, sit in the semi on the other side of the playoff bracket with ENCE and FaZe as potential rivals.
