The IEM Sydney playoffs kick off with four teams fighting to make it to the semi-finals.

ENCE were eliminated from IEM Sydney by FaZe in a one-sided affair, prompting Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer to take to Twitter and share his thoughts about the match. His team won just four rounds against Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team and suffered the first CS2 Big Event 13-0 loss on their pick of Anubis.

Update: The Tweet has since been removed and replaced by the following:

Europe FaZe 13-0 Europe ENCE

That one has to hurt. FaZe have won their opponent's map pick with the first 13-0 scoreline at a Big Event. Finn "karrigan" Andersen and company have shown up to play in CS2, and this performance has to make them the favorites for the title.

FaZe are now set to face MOUZ in the semis on Saturday at 10:30 .

Europe FaZe 8-0 Europe ENCE

FaZe's dominance has forced ENCE into some interesting decisions. Three different shotguns and an MP9 were providing support for the Álvaro "SunPayus" García AWP, which unsurprisingly failed to work out.

Europe FaZe 5-0 Europe ENCE

Finn "karrigan" Andersen's troops look dominant. After their one-sided win on Nuke, they kept up their momentum and currently lead 4-0 on the favored offensive side of Anubis.

Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken has had an insane performance so far and sits on 10 kills and just one death.

Europe FaZe 13-5 Europe ENCE

FaZe have justified their Nuke pick with a dominant 13-5 victory. ENCE found just two gun rounds in the entire map, and will hope for a change of fortunes on their pick of Anubis.

Everyone on the FaZe side had some individual moments, while Paweł "dycha" Dycha was the only one providing resistance on the ENCE side.

Europe FaZe 8-4 Europe ENCE

FaZe racked up eight rounds on the T-side despite losing the pistol and following conversion. Their playstyle is much slower than we have grown accustomed to in Sydney, and ENCE don't seem to have an answer for Finn "karrigan" Andersen's calling.

Let's see what Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer has prepared for the offensive side. There should be a few upper-site rushes if history is anything to go by.

Europe FaZe 5-3 Europe ENCE

After converting the pistol to a 3-0 lead, ENCE have been struggling ever since. FaZe showed a slow and measured offense that gave them a 5-3 lead, which prompted Eetu "sAw" Saha to call his second timeout of the map.

Tensions were high in the ENCE camp as several players showed visible frustrations during the timeout.

Complexity were down 9-10 on Ancient, the map they needed to end the series 2-0 after winning Anubis, and faced a wonky buy from BetBoom. The Russians had an M4A1-S, a MAG-7, an MP9, a P250, and Pavel "S1ren" Ogloblin wielding a USP-S with no armor.

Against the odds, it turned out to be S1ren who had the most impact for his team as he got two USP-S kills on unsuspecting players hitting the B site. Having picked up an AK, he then got two more kills and nearly turned the tide of the round before he was denied by Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski at the final hurdle.

BetBoom went on to win the following buy round to keep a one-round advantage, but in the end Complexity had the means to keep buying and found their way to the finishing line in round 24 after a lethal succession of pacey attacking plays.

Europe FaZe 0-1 Europe ENCE

ENCE have won the pistol with an upper-site rush, and we are immediately in a technical timeout as Helvijs "broky" Saukants needs some help with his PC.

The crowd has made their love for FaZe known during the walkouts, and Finn "karrigan" Andersen is being the showman he is known to be.

actually not really - comback is more unlikely as in MR15 - ct side harder, less posibilities for eco rounds - pistol rounds has more impact on the game result

Technically, now they have more time for preparation than faze :D Expect to hear the same phrase about short preparation next time too (like every team always say)

The really need to change the CT economy and this match proves that. ENCE basically had to save every round on CT and basically never went for a retake the entire match. It was a fucking snoozefest.

Nah, that a copium from Innershine. 3 Players on the team have more than enough experience on how to play against these teams, kairon not so many but he was a part of virtus.pro for quite some time, jame and dastan could teach him a thing or two. I am surprised that it was probably the first big stage game for zorte knowing how long he played for forze but again, he has enough experince how to deal with teams of complexity caliber, but didnt do so well in the end, he clearly struggled with the awp often buying p90. Danistzz was arguably worst performer on the team, but he is the only member of the team for whom would be appropriate to say that he came for experience, i would not be too harsh on him, he clutched some rounds here and there. Still, for me too early to judge wheter BB is a good team or not due to the tournament format and the fact that most of teams in adaptation phase for cs2. Waiting for open qualifiers for the major, then we can draw some conclusions
