Media: paiN to sign nqz, Legacy to recall b4rtiN

The Brazilian scene is set for a raft of changes according to recent reports.

nqz has been with his current team since the start of this year

paiN are on the verge of signing Lucas "nqz" Soares from Legacy, with the latter team set to recall Bruno "b4rtiN" Câmara from his loan at RED Canids as a replacement, according to reports by Dust2.br.

nqz will come into paiN’s squad to replace Cássio "cass1n" Santos, who was only recently promoted from the academy team.

The news follows rumors that paiN will soon be on the hunt for an alternative to Felipe "skullz" Medeiros, who is heavily linked with a move to Liquid. Why the Brazilians have decided to swap out cass1n was not revealed, according to the report.

nqz has played with Legacy, previously 00NATION, since the start of the year, averaging a respectable 1.08 rating with the squad. The team achieved success domestically, winning events like Pinnacle Cup Brasil and TG Masters Fall, but struggled to make much headway in international showings, and their form had soured recently.

As for b4rtiN, he is already familiar with some of the Legacy squad having played with the likes of Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer and Bruno "latto" Rebelatto on GODSENT for 18 months over 2021 and 2022.

The youngster did not end up on the starting lineup when the GODSENT roster was transferred to 00NATION mid-way through 2022, and did not feature in a HLTV-recorded match for over a year due to a stint playing VALORANT. He recently returned to the upper echelons of the Brazilian Counter-Strike scene and was playing with RED Canids, where he was on loan from the Legacy organization.

Should the reported moves come to pass, the teams would sport the following lineups:

Brazil paiN:

Brazil Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt
Brazil Kaue "kauez" Kaschuk
Brazil Lucas "lux" Meneghini
Brazil Lucas "nqz" Soares

Brazil Henrique "rikz" Waku (coach)

Brazil Legacy:

Brazil Marcelo "coldzera" David
Brazil Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato
Brazil Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer
Brazil Bruno "latto" Rebelatto
Brazil Bruno "b4rtiN" Câmara

Brazil Olavo "chucky" Napoleão (coach)

name checks out. +1 Yes, it was a big shuffle but I believe orgs now are thinking a head, like a year from now, with all the changes. Apart Furia with Fallen that was pure marketing strategy.

regardless I can see Brazil being back to competitive strength. Right now these guys have like 6 competitive teams. At the top . Mibr Legacy Furia. Second PaiN, Imperial, RED CANDIDS. Last Flamengo. Brazil is back.

+1 I hope cass1n got signed by another org, otherwise I don't understand the move, he is good and they just lost skullz so why not just sign a rifler

This move was made to equalize things. Now, Pain has two Lucas and Legacy has two Brunos. Ps. this move killed Legacy and gave Pain some hope of being relevant.
