1WIN clinch CCT East Europe Series 3 title

1win have secured the CCT East Europe Series 3 title and the $22,000 main prize after beating Preasy and Looking4Org in the final two playoffs matches on Friday.

It was a busy day for Boombl4, who stood in for Cloud9's match against fnatic in the Thunderpick World Championship in the morning, just a few of hours before stepping back into 1win for the semi-finals and grand final of the CCT event.

The Danish side around Ismail "⁠refrezh⁠" Ali and Nico "⁠nicoodoz⁠" Tamjidi proved to be the tougher nut to crack at first. 1win overturned a 6-9 deficit on Ancient to kick off the series and Preasy responded with an overtime win on Nuke, but ultimately the Danes ran out of steam in 1win's landslide 13-1 victory on Overpass.

Looking4Org reached the grand final without losing a single map or more than seven rounds per map in any of their matches against MOUZ NXT, Falcons, and ECSTATIC, but the Frenchmen couldn't match that form in the title decider.

1win ran away with the grand final series in a swift 2-0, rounding out a dominant run through the tournament and adding a fourth consecutive trophy in the Champion of Champions Tour circuit to their cabinet.
