Although Aurora were the first to take a map off Monte at the tournament, it wasn't enough to to stop the in-form favorites.
Monte will fight for the Roobet Cup 2023 title after beating Aurora 2-1 in the semi-finals of the online tournament. The Ukrainian-majority side will face off against the winner of the FURIA-Virtus.pro matchup for the $150,000 grand prize on Thursday.

Superb Terrorist sides carried Monte to the grand final as they came back from a loss on their home map, Anubis, where they fumbled a 5-0 lead.
Monte made a recovery of their own from a bad start on Nuke as they kept Aurora honest on Nuke, going 8-1 on the offense thanks to a spot-on call to rotate to the A bombsite in a crucial round 16 and a Alexander "br0" Bro 1v2 clutch at 10-8.
The Ancient decider saw Monte put together another solid Terrorist side, this time on the back of Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev's 18 kills in the second half alone and the Ukrainian's match-winning quad-kill.
