500 revamp roster

Ivan "⁠Patrick⁠" Ivanov and Denis "⁠Grashog⁠" Hristov have replaced Nikolay "⁠niki1⁠" Pantaleev and Kalin "⁠KalubeR⁠" Erenditsov on the roster.

500 have announced the release of niki1 and KalubeR from the organization, with Patrick returning to the lineup from the bench and ex-coach Grashog set to take over the IGL role to complete the lineup.

The Bulgarian team, which started the year at No. 22 in the world rankings, has been on a steady decline throughout the year. Their biggest achievement was their qualification for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Europe RMR B, where they exited the tournament with a 1-3 record. The results ultimately dried up, however, and the team now finds itself outside the top 100.

The team removed Georgi "⁠SHiPZ⁠" Grigorov after their Paris Major campaign and lost Aleks "⁠Rainwaker⁠" Petrov to Liquid a few months later, opting to replace them with Hristiyan "⁠REDSTAR⁠" Pironkov and KalubeR.

The latter has now found himself out of the team after just four months, with veteran IGL niki1, who was benched at the end of October in favor of the returning SHiPZ, following him out of the door.

Their new additions are no strangers to the organization. Patrick was benched less than a month ago and makes a swift comeback to the active lineup, while Grashog has been the team's coach since February and now assumes an on-server role as the IGL.

500 have already debuted with their new lineup at CCT East Europe Series 4 in a 0-2 loss to 9 Pandas. Their next outing will come on Tuesday at 13:00 in the YaLLa Compass Fall 2023 Contenders, where they will face off against Sampi.
