Rainwaker is out of Liquid after just five months

Aleks "⁠Rainwaker⁠" Petrov has been released from Liquid, bringing an end to a five-month stint under their banner.

Rainwaker has been sitting on the sidelines since he was benched from the lineup at the start of October, with Liquid using coach Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele as a temporary stand-in for BLAST Fall Showdown Americas.

The Bulgarian rifler joined Liquid from 500 in June and averaged a meager 0.96 rating during his tenure, with the team struggling to get results in what ultimately proved to be an ill-fated transition to a European-majority roster.

His departure from the organization has long been expected as reports have pointed towards a complete overhaul of the team, with Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken, Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller, Felipe "⁠skullz⁠" Medeiros, and Wilton "⁠zews⁠" Prado expected to join Mareks "⁠YEKINDAR⁠" Gaļinskis and Keith "⁠NAF⁠" Markovic for 2024.

and they will pay for it :) they did not need to make any changes initially, they always been top 5 team, the only reason they make changes is they serve the betting companies :) if a team is constantly winning this is not beneficial for the betting companies which are sponsoring the tournaments.... its a well played theater :)

Yep, I love liquid but it feels off as an org. Even when they were #1 in 2019 winning tournaments in a row, it didn’t feel “real”, knowing Astralis or someone can come out of no where and win a major.
