FaZe beat Complexity in Fall Final semis to keep win streak going
The European giants continue to roll with their 18th straight win ahead of Sunday's title decider against Vitality.

FaZe have locked up a spot in the grand final of the BLAST Premier Fall Final after moving past Complexity in a three-map series. It is the 18th win in a row for FaZe (the third-longest in CS:GO/CS2 history) as they turn their attention to Sunday's grand final, against Vitality.
"It was a very close game last year [against Heroic]," Finn "karrigan" Andersen said after the match. "We’re going to try to go for four tournaments in a row. It’s going to be very hard. Vitality is playing great, we don’t have so much information. We just need to be on point, and hopefully we can make it. Big respect to Vitality for how they have played so far."

FaZe took the lead in the series thanks to a near-flawless T half on Anubis before Complexity responded with an emphatic win on Nuke. The early stages of Ancient were a cagey affair, but then FaZe ran amok following jaw-dropping back-to-back clutches.
Complexity drew first blood on their map pick of Anubis, but there was no follow-up as FaZe hit back in with a force buy, courtesy of a Helvijs "broky" Saukants clutch. The European giants took charge of the game and rode that momentum to a 10-1 lead before Complexity finally mustered a second round.
The second half began with another clutch from broky, who won a seemingly impossible 1v2 situation with just 4HP and a pair of Berettas. The second half followed the same pattern as the first, with the other team immediately striking back and going on a dominant streak. Complexity got within two of their opponents, but FaZe weren’t willing to let it spiral out of control and put the game to bed.
Nuke got off to a chaotic start as it was a back-and-forth battle up until the midway point of the first half. Complexity then tightened up their defense and won four in a row to secure a comfortable 8-4 lead, with Michael "Grim" Wince ending the half on 15 frags.
Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski came up clutch in the following pistol to put Complexity further ahead before FaZe responded on a force buy. Many certainly expected a repeat of the first-half shenanigans, but Complexity quickly regained control and this time they didn’t let up.
It all came down to Ancient, where the early stages were reminiscent of Nuke as neither side looked overly impressive. But the landscape of the game changed completely following 1v4 clutches by Håvard "rain" Nygaard and broky, with FaZe riding that momentum to a 9-3 half.
Complexity still attempted a response, but their penchant for mistakes came back to haunt them in the second half as FaZe hit match point with nothing but pistols before wrapping things up a few rounds later on a very weak buy.
