Eight teams will compete at the Finnish event for $200,000 in prize money.

Elisa Masters Espoo will return on Wednesday with another exciting Counter-Strike tournament, where eight top teams will duke it out for their share of a $200,000 prize pool.

The Finnish LAN event is headlined by three top 10 teams, MOUZ, ENCE and Complexity, with the Finnish organization yet to confirm their fifth player and coach following the departures of Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer and Eetu "⁠sAw⁠" Saha. According to recent reports, former Astralis captain Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander and Polish coach Jakub "⁠kuben⁠" Gurczyński are filling the vacant positions.

fnatic is another team with question marks surrounding it just 48 hours before the start of the tournament. The defending Elisa Masters Espoo champions have been depleted to just two players, with an announcement believed to be forthcoming.

Seeing how good FURIA are will be one of the more interesting storylines to follow in this tournament. The Brazilian giants will be looking to bounce back from a top-four finish at Pari Please but face a difficult test against Complexity, who come off deep runs at IEM Sydney and BLAST Fall Final.

Participating teams

Five of the eight slots were filled through invites, handed to teams like ENCE, FURIA and Complexity. The final three tournament berths went to the winners of three qualifying events: the Winter and Spring Elisa Invitationals, and eSM 2023.

The competition will begin with a GSL group stage, featuring best-of-one games in the opening round, followed by the single-elimination playoffs with the top four teams. The grand final will feature a best-of-five format.
