Ninjas in Pyjamas are out of 2023's Svenska Cupen after a 2-1 loss to GODSENT in which former player Nicolas "⁠Plopski⁠" Gonzalez Zamora returned a 1.29 rating.

After losing their Swedish majority via the benching of Hampus "⁠hampus⁠" Poser and Ludvig "⁠Brollan⁠" Brolin, NIP opted to swap Alejandro "⁠alex⁠" Masanet and Daniil "⁠headtr1ck⁠" Valitov for Swedes Max "⁠maxster⁠" Jansson and Leo "⁠Silence⁠" Ingvarsson in order to compete at the local LAN.

Without their AWPer and in-game leader, Ninjas in Pyjamas struggled to deal with Maikil "⁠Golden⁠" Selim's GODSENT squad who ran out convincing winners on Ancient (13-4) and the decider of Mirage (13-8).
