BetBoom 11-7
GamerLegion
The second half did not start as Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski's side would have hoped - an advantage in the pistol round slipped away from them, and the economic control that awarded BetBoom has allowed them to run away with the lead on the CT side.
The Russian team reached double digits quickly, and the teams are now trading blows as GamerLegion look to stay in the game.
BetBoom 7-5
GamerLegion
BetBoom made up for their slow start on the T side of Nuke with a splendid recovery in the latter half of their attacking effort, winning six rounds on the trot thanks to well-timed aggressive plays and methodical defaults.
BetBoom are just six rounds away from closing out the series and eliminating GamerLegion from the tournament.
BetBoom 1-4
GamerLegion
A quad kill from Isak "isak" Fahlén allowed GamerLegion to get off to a strong start on map two, and the Swedish rifler added another four kills to his tally in the two rounds that followed to grant his team a 3-0 lead.
A successful ramp push and lower attack allowed BetBoom to tally their first, but GamerLegion answered right back to break the Russian team's economy and extend their edge.
BetBoom 13-9
GamerLegion
It was getting a little close for comfort there, but BetBoom managed to close things out in the end and steal away GamerLegion's pick.
It took a 1v3 clutch from Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov to take it over the line, and the Russian captain did it in style — check the final frags of the map out below as we turn our attention to Nuke.
BetBoom 11-6
GamerLegion
BetBoom are in cruise control and are nearing victory on map one, with Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin sitting at the top of the board with 21 frags.
GamerLegion just put up their first CT round, so let's see if they can kick off a comeback.
Aleksandr "zorte" Zagodyrenko took to Telegram before the GamerLegion vs. BetBoom match to explain why there was a lengthy delay before the match began.
"Okay, I'll tell you why we can't start the match," the Russian sniper said. "We are sitting on a setup that has won four out of four matches in this tournament. The guys say 'we want to flip the coin for this setup,' but we refused, logically.
"Second. They think that we can’t probably lose 0-2, because we can see what the tournament is called and what our team is called. And they think that... They are asking there... In short, they haven’t set up some sort of Internet here.
"I mean, there is Internet, but you cannot open anything. This is just so that the skins are loaded. The guys are asking for all this to be shut off, because they think that we will look somewhere... like, someone will write to us on Steam and give us information. But they don’t understand that I'd rather fuck up the game 0-13 than to beat them with such shit."

BetBoom 5-2
GamerLegion
BetBoom may have gotten off on the wrong foot on the CT side of Ancient, but they're building a solid lead now. Aleksandr "KaiR0N-" Anashkin already has 11 frags to his name, six more than his closest teammates.

After an almost hour-long delay, the final match of the day has finally started.
Here is the full veto:
1. GamerLegion removed Anubis
2. BetBoom removed Inferno
3. GamerLegion picked Ancient
4. BetBoom picked Nuke
5. GamerLegion removed Mirage
6. BetBoom removed Vertigo
7. Overpass was left over
Speaking to HLTV.org after the win: "It was my first game on stage, I had some problems at the beginning of Nuke, with sound, headphones, with server on my side. But we fixed it, and it felt okay. I wouldn't say that it's a big difference between studio LAN and online. It's almost the same, there are just more emotions. Not for me, but for my teammates. I feel almost the same."
On dispelling nerves: "It's easy to have control over your mind if you know what to do and you know what the enemies are doing, and why you are better and this stuff. It wasn't a problem for my team because we knew what they were doing, and what we had to do to win."
On that comeback: "It was a lot of preparation. We knew what they were doing, and their style. It's just easier on CT side against those teams like FURIA, those teams that run a lot and play aggressive Counter-Strike. On CT, you're using nades, you're using communication, you're just looking at your crosshair and killing. But on T, there is a lot of some strange moves that you rarely see against other teams."
