BLAST World Final playoff bracket set

Vitality and FaZe, who sit on opposite sides of the bracket, will be favorites to make the final.

After two days of play the BLAST Premier World final group stage has concluded and the playoff bracket for the final elite LAN tournament of the year is now set.

Natus Vincere will take on G2 in one quarter-final, with Vitality awaiting the winner in the semi-final. On the other side of the bracket MOUZ will battle Cloud9 and the winner will take on FaZe.

The teams left behind in the group stage were a cobbled-together HEROIC and ENCE. Both of the sides are expected to undergo significant rebuilds in the upcoming off-season, with HEROIC reportedly interested in three of ENCE's current squad.

FaZe and Vitality were the dominant sides of the group stage, and the duo are widely expected to contest the trophy on Sunday. Vitality cruised through their group with little trouble, whilst FaZe, fresh from adding David "⁠frozen⁠" Čerňanský to their number, were run close in the group final by G2.
