torzsi on FaZe: "We want to get our revenge"
The Hungarian AWPer spoke with HLTV about the comfortable win against Cloud9 and the upcoming semi-final clash.

MOUZ have made it to the arena portion of the BLAST Premier World Final with an emphatic 2-0 victory over Cloud9. They dropped just eight rounds across the series, with Mirage, the opening map, being a 13-1 blowout.
After the match, Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás admitted that he expected a tougher series, adding that the lack of a strong AWP presence on the other side made his life easier. “I was thinking, going into this game, that I wanted to play really aggressively because I knew that most of the time there would be no AWP,” he said.
MOUZ will now turn their attention to Saturday’s semi-final bout against FaZe in what will be the first match between the two sides since David "frozen" Čerňanský switched teams. According to torzsi, MOUZ will continue to play without fear. “FaZe is a great team, but, you know… frozen went there, so we want to get our revenge. We really want to win and show that we are a great team.”

You only dropped eight rounds in total. Did you expect it to be this easy?
To be honest, no. I expected a much closer game, but I am really happy with how it went. We have made it to the arena, and we are just really excited. We came here to play without regrets because I don’t think we have a lot to lose in this tournament, so we’re giving everything.
Can you walk me through that Mirage game? Would you say that it was as close to a perfect game as possible?
Yeah, I would say it was almost a perfect game, we lost one round. We were really dynamic on the map, we were moving around, communicating a lot. We were a little bit surprised when they chose to start on the T side. We got the CT side on our pick. It was pretty comfortable. And yeah, we just showed that we are really good.
On Ancient, you were playing super well with the rifles. Did you feel confident, not just with the AWP, but also with the rifles in this game?
Yeah, I play a lot of rifles when I play Deathmatch or when I play FACEIT. I’m confident with both, and, as I said earlier, we are trying to play without any regrets, without any fear. If there is an opportunity, I will just try to go for it, playing really aggressively. I’m just trying to set the team up for the win.
On Ancient, you were down 7-1. How did the team manage to stay so composed and turn it around?
They started off really well and we lost some crucial rounds. Then, I just said to the guys, ‘Guys, we need 7-5. Let’s go. Let’s keep it up and the rounds will come if we play well.’ So we started to play a little bit more compact because in the first half of the side we didn’t start on A a lot and they abused it. We just started to play more default rounds and it came to us.
And luck was a little bit on your side, right? Because in the second pistol, there were 0.01 seconds left on the clock.
Oh, yeah. We thought they had the bomb. We said, ‘They have the bomb, it’s fine. Let’s focus on next time,’ but it exploded, so we were really happy that we got the round.
Would you say that this performance showed the strength of the team, at least from the core of the team, where everyone can pull their weight and put in good numbers?
Yeah, I think it showed that we are capable of it. I think Brollan showed up as well. I think he’s doing really great. He’s a good guy, and you can trust him.
A lot has been said about the fact that Cloud9 does not have a dedicated AWPer. As an AWPer yourself, do you think it makes it easier for you to know that on the other side there’s not someone who is capable of playing with the AWP in every round?
Exactly. I was thinking, going into this game, that I wanted to play really aggressively because I knew that most of the time there would be no AWP. It’s much easier to play as a team when you know they don’t have a dedicated AWPer because you know you are not going to run into AWPs. You can strafe lines easier and more confidently. So yeah, it helped me a lot, knowing this.
You are now going to play against FaZe in the semi-finals. What are your expectations?
FaZe is a great team, but, you know… frozen went there, so we want to get our revenge. We really want to win and show that we are a great team. And we know that they haven’t had a lot of practice with him. We haven’t had a lot of practice with Brollan. So I think this game can go either way. And I think that the better team on the day will win. We’ll just have to show up.
