Aerial to stand in for allu's JANO in RMR qualifiers

He will replace Jerppa, who is taking a break from competitive play.

Aerial and allu are re-uniting for "at least" the Copenhagen Major cycle

JANO have announced the addition of Jani "⁠Aerial⁠" Jussila to their roster for the European open qualifiers to the PGL Copenhagen Major.

The 30-year-old Finn is replacing Jere "⁠Jerppa⁠" Määttä, who is taking an indefinite break from competition.

The move means that Aerial will re-unite with Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli for the first time since turning out for ENCE at the back end of 2020.

Aerial has been inactive since taking a step back from HAVU in May, and told JANO's official website that he is looking forward to the challenge: "It's nice to play with allu again, and also to test my own endurance. I've had a lot of playing hours lately, but more with friends. So it will take a while before I can get back into a more competitive style of play again."

"Over the years I have kept in touch with Aerial from time to time," allu added. "The desire to possibly play for the same team again at some point has been mutual."

JANO have a little over two weeks to prepare for the European open qualifiers, slated to begin on January 8. They will compete there with the following roster:
