9INE rebuild roster around KEi, mynio

The Polish roster is now at full strength after losing three members to ENCE.

mynio returns to 9INE's active roster

9INE have announced their roster rebuild ahead of the 2024 season. The organization returned Wiktor "⁠mynio⁠" Kruk to the active roster and signed Miłosz "⁠mhL⁠" Knasiak, Tomasz "⁠tomiko⁠" Uroda, and Kacper "⁠Bambosh⁠" Szlachta to bring their roster to full strength. Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun remains on the team as the sole member of the previous lineup, while Jakub "⁠jcobbb⁠" Pietruszewski was moved to an inactive role in December after a short stint.

The move marks a necessary rebuild after 9INE lost Olek "⁠hades⁠" Miskiewicz, Kacper "⁠Kylar⁠" Walukiewicz, and Krzysztof "⁠Goofy⁠" Górski to ENCE, who also inherited their invite to the PGL Copenhagen Major Europe RMR, courtesy of the Poles making the Legends Stage of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

ENCE acquire 9INE core

mynio is no stranger to the organization, having spent more than a year on the team's previous iteration. He oversaw 9INE's qualification for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Legends stage, IEM Cologne, and ESL Pro League Season 18 in the early part of 2023, but was benched in November after results began to dry up.

mhL joins the team from Falcons, who he represented for five months before making way for Danny "⁠zonic⁠" Sørensen's new project. The Polish AWPer put up a 1.08 rating during his time in the organization and previously impressed in Endpoint and AGO.

The other two members, tomiko and Bambosh, come from Permitta, having played for the organization in domestic competitions at the end of 2023. tomiko also had a loan stint at Into the Breach, where he averaged a 1.08 rating across the team's campaigns in CCT 2023 Online Finals 5 and European Pro League Season 12.

The lineup is set to debut in the first PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 Europe RMR Open Qualifier, set to start on Monday, January 8.

There is a famous children's poem about an african child named Bambo and it is sometimes accused of showing black people in stereotypical and negative light. Also the word is sometimes used as a slur for black people by some idiots. It's nowhere near the nword level but still I guess it's better to play it safe

mhL makes perfect sense, tomiko isn't too bad... kuku is anyone's guess. Overall, could be worse. There's only so much that can be built from current PL scene. Not expecting a ton though. Honestly, feels bad for jcobbb. Feeling like you have a shot at playing in higher tier of CS only for everything to fall apart within a month.
