Eight teams secured spots in the event through the GCC, South Africa, and Middle East open qualifiers.

The team list for the PGL Copenhagen Major Middle East RMR closed qualifier has been set following the conclusion of three sub-regional open qualifiers, with Bravado and JiJieHao being two of the notable names to make it through.

Stefan "⁠Lacore⁠" Paunovic's Shush and Filip "⁠tudsoN⁠" Tudev's Onyx Ravens made it through the GCC qualifier with relative ease, while all of South Africa's familiar names — Bravado, Nixuh, and Goliath — made it through their open bracket.

The Middle East qualifier had some known teams competing too, most notably that of JiJieHao, who recently added Aleksei "⁠El1an⁠" Gusev and Adel "⁠Remind⁠" Guermassi.

The Chinese organization earned the top seed out of the qualifier, while the other two spots were clinched by Shuaib "⁠D0cC⁠" Ahmad's POGGERZ and DEATHROW.

The Middle East RMR closed qualifier will see eight teams battle their way through a double-elimination bracket from January 26-28. The top two sides will secure berths to the PGL Major Copenhagen Asia RMR, which is slated to play out from February 26-28 in Shanghai, China.

so each of the 5 APAC regions got assigned one spot, and the remaining 3 spots were assigned to the the 3 regions with the highest ranked teams participating in their respective CQ. MEA got the 3rd spot thanks to Uzbek team Traffic Tashkent (idek how tf they're middle east, but that's a discussion for another time), which was placed higher than OCE's best team, Rooster. what's insane tho, is that Traffic Tashkent dropped out because they couldn't field a roster. this was announced before the open qualifiers even began, so I don't see how it's possible that they are still keeping that spot...

Too bad POGGERZ didn't retain their original roster from the CSGO Major Qualifier that they played in. Lobanjica and the other guy fit in with the other 3 pretty well.
