Photo update from Hannover

The first round of the group stage has found its end, it took a lot longer than expected, as the event got delayed due to players being delayed by the shuttle service.

Eventually the tournament did get started and we have now been here for three hours. While most of you have to watch from home, we now bring you the first photo update from Hannover. The first update contains a total of 49 photos, from the very beginning when the players arrived, the dispute when the network went down and a lot more. Below is listed a small selection of the photos shot.

You can find the entire gallery from Tuesday at Extreme Masters IV World Championship Finals by clicking here. Stay tuned for more to come, as we will be bringing you more updates once we got more photos in vault.

If this would of happened to EG do you think that fnatic would have done any different than EG did?

Honestly I'd be mad if a GUN round was taken away from me, and we had to save and lose rounds.

What a way to lay off the responsibility, letting the teams decide whether or not to replay the round. In my opinion, that would be for the referee's to decide. Now there's going to be a bunch of anomosity and controversy over this, which is just plain silly.

Yes, that sounds astounding. Why on earth would they let EG have a say in it, they have nothing at all to gain by allowing a replay.

I agree. It's not EG or FX's fault, they're doing whats best for their team and their organisation... it shouldn't be up to the teams to make these kind of rulings, it's the admins who should have to make these hard decisions.
