BOROS: "I want to remind everyone who I am"
The Jordanian rifler has set his sights on returning to his Paris Major form.

Falcons went through a huge restructuring during the final months of 2023, with Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas the only remnant of the organization's past project. The Jordanian broke through at the Paris Major with Monte but couldn't replicate his success after that.
As the new Falcons roster began to take shape, BOROS remained the biggest question mark on the team. His reputation as an aim-reliant player stuck to him like glue, and many were skeptical of his ability to adapt to the team's system.
Falcons' debut was a one-sided loss to Astralis, but Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer and company bounced back with a 2-0 win over OG. After the win, BOROS stopped by HLTV to give some quick thoughts about the game and the team's expectations.
This is your first win in the new Falcons roster. How does that feel?
It feels so good because I haven't played on LAN for such a long time. I'm feeling good to play with good teammates, and I'm excited about our future. We have everything to play in tier-one CS again. I am happy that I have everything like my teammates, zonic, our IGL, and everyone.
You said you didn't play on LAN for a while. Do you feel like you perform better in this setting?
Yeah, I feel I perform better on LAN, even from the Monte times. I play better because I have high ping in my country, so I feel it feels good to play on LAN.
Now you meet Vitality. What are your expectations for that game?
They are really good now, but we'll try to do our best, be ready for this game, and show that we can be in the top five and beat them.
You were the only survivor from the previous Falcons roster. So how was this whole process with zonic coming in from your perspective?
They trusted that I could be the talent of the team, so they kept me and brought all the experience and good players with me, so I'm excited to show myself again.
How is it working under zonic's leadership?
He's helping the team so much. He's controlling everything, working so hard. So it's good to have a proper coach.
When I spoke to him on media day, he said you weren't as professional as you should be at the start, but that you improved a lot. So how was coming into a completely new environment for you?
When you're losing everything, you will have no motivation to play the game. So I'm happy that I'm getting this motivation back. I want to remind everyone who I am and destroy everyone.
You had a very good game today. Do you feel you've been set up to be a star for this team?
Yeah. With our coach and with Snappi, I think I would be a star player.
And you're happy with your roles? Are they the same as maybe in Monte, where you broke through in the first place?
No, we changed a bit, but I'm happy with the roles. Everything's good.
You got pretty loud in the game today. Is that something that comes naturally to you, or do you feel your role in this team is also to hype everyone up?
No, I just got excited because I'm back on LAN and playing well, so I was happy.
Just looking forward to the season. What are your expectations for you and for this roster?
Because we are a new team, we are not expecting that much from this event. Like every event, we are learning, BLAST is our first tournament. But for the future, our expectations are to win trophies and be a top team.
