FaZe, VP open EU RMR A with convincing wins
VP overcame losing both pistols while FaZe went on a 7-round T side streak.

FaZe and Virtus.pro have sailed into the 1-0 pool in Bucharest after making light work of 9 Pandas and SAW, respectively.
FaZe's first half was a struggle at times, losing the pistol and allowing Denis "seized" Kostin and company to grab six T side rounds despite several multi-kills courtesy of Robin "ropz" Kool.
But they rallied in the second, converting the pistol and ending their T side flawless to take it from 6-6 to a 13-6 win.
Håvard "rain" Nygaard was particularly impactful in Middle as he took advantage of a sometimes disjointed 9 Pandas defense, but the whole system looked dialled in throughout.
Virtus.pro won victory by the same 13-6 scoreline but were even less challenged, losing both pistols yet dominating the gun rounds.
At the half-time mark Nikolay "mir" Bityukov was up to 16 kills while four SAW players only had 13 between them, and only a small cosmetic comeback took the Portuguese side to six before VP secured victory.
The RMR is an even more important tournament for Dzhami "Jame" Ali's side in the wake of disappointment in Katowice's play-in, but they looked assured throughout proceedings as they attempt to avoid the collapse that denied their attendance at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
