Na´Vi send mouz packing

European Continental champions mousesports have been sent home empty-handed following a 2-1 defeat to Na´Vi.

On de_dust2, Na´Vi got the action going in the earlier stages, taking the opening three rounds, before mousesports attempted to pull off a comeback, which was short-lived, though, as the Ukrainians demonstrated incredible focus as CT to set the score at 11-4 at half time.

In the second half, Antonio "cyx" Daniloski secured the pistol round for mousesports in a 1-on-1 situation, and despite Na´Vi's purchasing attempt in the second round, the Germans managed to fend off their opponents' threat and went on to win two more rounds. Things then got a lot more stacked, with both teams exchanging some rounds, but in the end Na´Vi came out on top with the scoreboard showing 16-10.

The second map, de_inferno, saw mousesports take a 3-0 lead, but Na´Vi managed to respond and win two rounds in a row. Although took the next three rounds, the remainder of the first half would belong to the Ukranians as they secured a 9-6 lead at the break.

Now as Terrorist, Na´Vi extended their lead to six after winning the first three rounds, but from then on it was almost an all-mouz show as a good run from the Germans saw then turn things around and win the map 16-13.

It then went all down to de_tuscan, where Na´Vi were the first to smile as they strolled to a 4-0 score that made their chances look good, but mouz picked themselves up right after, going into half time up 10-5.

However, the Ukrainians were not impressed with the five-round deficit, and mounted a great comeback in the second half to level the match at 10 rounds. A couple of close rounds then followed, with neither side able to stamp their authority over the other, until mouz set the score at 14-13. However, the German side could not capitalise on the fact they needed just two rounds to win, letting Na´vi take the last rounds to win the match 2-1.
