EU RMR B opening matchups and schedule set

More traps await the favorites in the Major cycle's famous Swiss system.

Spirit's quest to Copenhagen begins against ENCE

PGL has announced the schedule for the second group of Europe's PGL Major Copenhagen RMR, to begin on February 19.

The openers follow Valve's new seeding format where the No. 1 seed faces the No. 9 in their first match, all the way down to No. 8 facing No. 16, to avoid the number nine seed earning an easier route than number eight.

It means Vitality face a fairly tough opener against GamerLegion, while Guild Eagles look to make a fourth Major starting against MOUZ. Danil "⁠donk⁠" Kryshkovets and Spirit, meanwhile, will be back in action against Lukas "⁠gla1ve⁠" Rossander's ENCE.

Group B features a tougher set of teams, by HLTV ranking at least, compared to the first group and competition will be fierce for eight of the nine remaining Major spots.

There will also be a personal affair to close the first round as Nico "⁠nicoodoz⁠" Tamjidi takes on former team Preasy at 15:00 .
