SAW stamp Enterprise out of Europe RMR

A ewjerkz masterclass sends the Portuguese team through to the Major spot-deciding series.

SAW are one victory away from qualifying for the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen after decimating Enterprise in a quick 2-0 series in Bucharest, Romania.

SAW will next face off against fnatic in the Major-deciding series on Saturday with hopes of securing themselves and the Portuguese organization their first-ever Major appearance.

The Polish side around Mateusz "⁠TOAO⁠" Zawistowski are now out of contention for a spot at the next Major after they lost three consecutive matches in the Europe RMR A event, to Natus Vincere, BetBoom, and the Portuguese squad.

The latest loss was the most harrowing of them all for Enterprise. Facing off against a menacing Michel "⁠ewjerkz⁠" Pinto who ran all over them on banana and the B bombsite, the Poles could not keep advantages throughout Inferno as they went down 1-11 on the CT side in a horrid start to the series.

ewjerkz continued to dominate on Vertigo, where a few more advantageous scenarios went awry and spelled disaster from Enterprise, giving way to another hot start from the Portuguese squad.

After recovering the half with the final three rounds off the back of a Wojciech "⁠bajmi⁠" Strzelczyk flank play, Rafael "⁠arrozdoce⁠" Wing thwarted Enterprise' hopes with a flashy quad-kill in the second pistol round, and SAW rallied to a quick 13-6 closing on map two to secure their place in the fifth round.
