ZywOo masterclass and MOUZ comeback kick off Europe RMR B

GamerLegion and Guild Eagles are off to a losing start in the second European PGL Major qualifier.

Vitality and MOUZ have picked up wins in the opening round of PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR B after the former dominated GamerLegion 13-2 on Nuke and the latter survived a scare against Guild Eagles in overtime on Ancient.

Vitality had Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut to thank for their dominant opening win against GamerLegion. The French superstar made it look easy with an ace in the pistol round and he continued to dominate as the half progressed on the way to a flawless CT side.

Finding openings and multikills time and time again up against a lost-looking GamerLegion side, ZywOo racked up 23 kills in a 12-0 half and ended the map with a staggering 2.86 rating and 3.81 Impact.

In the other match, Guild Eagles once again showed they are a team to be feared when they turn up in the Major cycle regardless of their online form, but they couldn't finish off a limping MOUZ.

In their Ancient affair, the Kosovar side steamrolled on the offense off the back of a momentum-swinging Dionis "⁠sinnopsyy⁠" Budeci 1v2 clutch. MOUZ finally turned up when sides switched at 3-9 and began the climb back as Ludvig "⁠Brollan⁠" Brolin kept firing on all cylinders and Ádám "⁠torzsi⁠" Torzsás recovered from a slow start, clutching a crucial 1v3 to help his team survive.

Unable to close it in regulation, Guild Eagles won the first two rounds in overtime before MOUZ turned it around with four rounds in a row off of a couple more key multikills from torzsi and a crucial Dorian "⁠xertioN⁠" Berman flank in a 3v4.
