Spirit trounce ENCE, ECSTATIC upset sdy-less Monte and Apeks beat OG
The IEM Katowice champions made light work of their first opponents.

The second pair of matches in the Europe RMR B tournament has come to an end, Spirit overrunning ENCE and Monte falling to ECSTATIC. Meanwhile, Apeks beat OG convincingly in the first match of the third round.
Spirit’s RMR campaign began like their IEM Katowice run, with a 13-0 blowout win. This time, the victim was ENCE, who had a few good moments on the T side but couldn’t capitalize on them as Spirit were deadly in their retakes, even when key players were already dead.
The game began with a quad-kill from Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, setting the tone for a painful first half for ENCE. But it was more than just a one-man show: Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov was just as impactful on the CT side, and Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov contributed with seven AWP frags as the Russian team cruised to a 12-0 half. Spirit then finished the job in the ensuing pistol round after overturning a 3v4 situation.

Over on the secondary stream, ECSTATIC edged past Monte in a close Anubis game. Playing without Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev, the Ukrainian team came out looking lively and raced to a 6-1 lead on the T side, but then the Danes tightened up their defense and brought the deficit to two rounds before the break.
ECSTATIC maintained their momentum after the side switch and began to chip away at the deficit, keeping Monte from stringing rounds together. With Jonas "Queenix" Dideriksen leading the charge, the Danish team wrapped things up in the 22nd round after outplaying their opponents.
Meanwhile, on the main stream, Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad turned in an inspired performance as Apeks beat OG in a one-sided Ancient game. A highly-contested initial period gave way to a domination from Apeks, who ended the first half with an 8-4 lead after a strong T showing.

One round was all that OG could muster on the T side as Apeks comfortable secured the game following a 1v2 clutch from Martin "STYKO" Styk.
