gla1ve: "We don't have that Katowice vibe at the moment, but it will come"
gla1ve is pleased to see his team can win even when they don't play their best game.

ENCE surprised many with their level at IEM Katowice, as the majority-Polish squad stole upset wins over G2 and Vitality on their way to a thoroughly respectable top-six finish.
A 0-13 drubbing at the hands of Spirit kicked off ENCE's Europe RMR campaign and brought the team back down to earth, but they recovered admirably with a comfortable victory over Guild Eagles before clinching a narrow win over GamerLegion to secure a 2-1 record.
Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander took some time out with HLTV after his impact plays helped secure the win over GamerLegion, and he gave his thoughts on the game, ENCE's ability to win without playing their best, and the current lack of the "Katowice vibe."

A very tight game, crazy and back and forth. What are your thoughts on it?
It was a crazy game, not the best start from us and I felt like we could have played it a bit differently in the beginning of the half. They surprised us a bit with some of the things that they did, but I actually think that we didn't play that well, both individually and maybe as a team.
When we started on the CT side and won the pistol, we started to feel a bit better, but I think we can still do better than this. I am happy with the win, of course, but I don't feel like we have that Katowice vibe at the moment, but it will come.
I wanted to ask about Katowice. I asked hades this as well, people are going to throw around the term "honeymoon." Did Katowice feel like that? Now you are at this tournament, what are your reflections on that?
I don't really think it was a honeymoon because our practice was not that good (smiles), I think that maybe we are better at tournaments than sitting online and in practices. I don't think it's a honeymoon, but of course it's about finding some consistency, and we actually found that today. If this was another day and we played badly, maybe we would have lost, but actually, we have some consistency now that allows us to win some rounds even though we don't have the best of days.
Going back to the game, the second half felt like you were playing on hard mode a little bit. You got your CT side established, then they won some rounds and your economy was on the edge. What are your thoughts on that second half?
It was a good start, but then we lost some key rounds and had to make a comeback, it was pretty tough. In the end, we made it, I'm not quite sure how (laughs) I need to watch again, it was pretty stressful as I was thinking a lot about what they wanted to do, stuff like this. I think they played pretty well; they are good on Nuke as well, we knew that, but it is a map we have been working a bit on.
Let's talk about your performance because you had a lot of impact rounds in that game, you had that trigger discipline play on ramp, two kills through a smoke towards the end of the game. Was this a game were you felt like you had to step up and make plays? Like you said, your team didn't have the best day.
I always try to step up and make plays, but sometimes I am a little more risky than other times. I didn't really have the best game on the T side, but on the CT side, things started to flow a bit more, and it felt really good, so of course I was able to take some more risks. I think we could have won even more rounds on the CT side, but yeah, it was good.
