dupreeh's Major streak ends as Preasy are knocked out of Europe RMR

The 30-year-old will miss the first Major that will take place in his home country.

Preasy have been eliminated from the Europe RMR B tournament following a 2-1 defeat to Guild Eagles in the 1-2 pool. This means that Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen will not be able to extend his perfect record of Major appearances after attending all 19 Majors in CS:GO.

The 30-year-old, the winningest player at Majors after picking up four titles with Astralis and one with Vitality, joined Preasy at the end of 2023, less than seven months after lifting the trophy in Paris.

Though he committed to a long-term project with the Danish organization, it was clear from the beginning that the team had its sights on attending PGL Major Copenhagen, the first Counter-Strike Major to be held in Denmark.

However, the Danish team fell short of that goal in Bucharest, losing to HEROIC, OG and Guild Eagles. The only saving grace was a 2-1 win over PERA in a series in which they had to come back from a map down.

With no margin for error, Preasy came out strongly in their second elimination series as they cruised to a 13-6 win on Inferno despite losing both pistol rounds. Nerves took in after the first map as the series unraveled into a chaotic mess, with Guild Eagles equalising the series with a 13-7 win on Ancient.

dupreeh was Preasy's top performer in the RMR

Preasy picked up an early lead on Overpass but they quickly ceded control to Guild Eagles, who picked up a 13-9 success — a scoreline that could have been much worse for Preasy if Fredrik "⁠roeJ⁠" Jørgensen had not won two heroic rounds in the second half.
