Twisted Minds replace 15 Average in Asia RMR

The international squad failed to submit a valid lineup for the tournament.

D0cC and company will travel to Shanghai for the RMR

PGL has announced that 15 Average has not been able to put together an eligible lineup for the Asia RMR and will therefore not compete at the event in Shanghai.

Onyx Ravens, the next team in line behind the two sides that made it through the Middle East qualifier, 15 Average and JiJieHao, couldn't make it to the RMR either as players were unable to secure visas in time for the event.

As such, Twisted Minds have been invited to the Major-qualifying tournament in China, where they will compete to reach the Major with the likes of The MongolZ, Lynn Vision, TYLOO, and Grayhound.

This is the second substitution at the Asia RMR after Trouble makers also faced visa issues and were replaced by MAG.

The Asia RMR will take place on February 26-28 in Shanghai, China, with eight teams fighting for two Major spots.

The double-elimination bracket will start with best-of-ones in the upper bracket's two first rounds before best-of-threes take over in the upper final and throughout the lower bracket.

It's time to expand Asia RMR anyway: 3 spots China 2 spots Australia 2 spots MENA 2 spots South-East Asia 2 spots South Africa 3 spots East Asia (without China) 2 spots South Asia (India, Pakistan etc.) And play Double Elimination bracket like CCT Online Finals: 16 team opening round - 4 games per stream with 2 streams in total. 8 winners to Upper Quarters - Afternoon and Late block, 2 games at once. 8 losers to Lower Round 1 - Early and Midday block, 2 games at once. 4 losers eliminated in 13th-16th place after Lower Round 1. 4 winners to Upper Semis - Afternoon Games on Day 3. 4 winners from Lower Round 1 and 4 Losers from Upper Quarters to Lower Round 2. - Early and Midday Games on Day 3. 4 losers eliminated in 9th-12th place after Lower Round 2. Late games on Day 3 are then the Lower Round 3 Games, 2 teams eliminated in 7th-8th place. Day 4 then has early games Lower Semis at the same time. Midday game for the Upper Final (Quali Series 1). Afternoon game for the Lower Final. Late Game for the Consolidation Final (Quali Series 2). 4 day RMR, albeit ambitious, Double Elimination, 16 teams, everyone gets their slots, we grow all the regions in Asia. If they get one team into the next stage that's 3 spots for Shanghai, get both in and you get 4 with less games needed. TLDR more regions, more spots, 16 team RMR, Double Elimination so you don't get the bullshit like in Swiss system.

The Middle East had a higher ranked team than all of Australia, so they were one of the 3 regions that got a second spot. It's not set in stone and Australia can earn that spot back in the next major cycle.

We worked hard and we got him the permission to leave ukraine though and he got his papers ready but he was stopped at the border eitherway. PGL didnt allow us to use our coach even though teams were allowed to do in many cases before in RMR's and major quals in urgent cases and this was one lol

It didnt take much , less than 3/4 days since it was an expidated visa and we did the Business Category (M) one and selected Competetion purposes, the only negative thing is the fact that the process was being done in the chinease new year so that kinda added another week because they were not working.

They didnt dodge anything , all the players are in china except qweal who was trying to leave ukraine but was not allowed due to the war , he was given permission though few days before but still they didnt allow him to leave through the border. PGL didnt allow 15 to use their coach as a stand in because they already had used a stand-in in the quals , just unfair shit by PGL since in many previous cases coaches were allowed to play in RMRs and majors because of urgent cases

2 teams were disqualified not because of skill but because of visa issues. They could've chosen a better location than visa-issue-laden China for RMR (eg. Singapore/Japan/Hong Kong) but I guess this is the only way to make the Chinese team remotely close to being able to qualify. GG Perfect world. TYLOO/LVG shanghai major champion incoming.
