Grayhound ease past JiJieHao in lower bracket

The Boys will clash with ATOX next in their lower bracket journey.

Following TYLOO's elimination from the Asia RMR at the hands of ATOX, Grayhound were the next favorites to face an elimination match in the lower bracket. The Aussies didn't fret, however, and made quick work of JiJieHao to secure passage to the next elimination match.

The series kicked off on JiJieHao's Anubis map pick, but Grayhound were in control throughout. Despite winning both pistol rounds, the eclectic international mix failed to put more than seven rounds on the board and were eventually overrun by Glocks to embarrassingly fall 13-7.

Grayhound's T side on Vertigo was also too much for JiJieHao to handle as the Australian side cruised to a 9-3 half on the attack. Aleksei "⁠El1an⁠" Gusev and company won four out of the first five on the attack but in the end were brought to their knees, once again 13-7.

Up next for Grayhound is ATOX, the Mongolian side who eliminated TYLOO in their lower bracket bout. The two teams will go head-to-head in the lower bracket final on Wednesday for a chance at reaching the Major-qualifying consolidation final.
