ODDIK eliminate RED Canids from Americas RMR

WOOD7 and company are now one victory away from securing a Major berth.

ODDIK have kept themselves alive at the Americas RMR after getting the better of RED Canids in a three-map series (Nuke 13-6, Overpass 6-13, Anubis 13-4).

The Brazilians now await their 2-1 pool opponents, with paiN as their likeliest opponents, though results can still affect Buccholz scores dramatically.

The 2-1 pool currently looks like this:

ODDIK picked Nuke in the series and looked comfortable on their home map. They racked up eight rounds on the less-favored offensive side, and the rifling trio of João "⁠matios⁠" Guedes, Gabriel "⁠ponter⁠" Amaral, and Matheus "⁠Tuurtle⁠" Anhaia continued to dominate proceedings as they helped their team secure a comfortable 13-6 victory.

The tables turned on Overpass as it was RED Canids who secured a 13-6 victory. A solid seven-round haul on the T side gave them a good platform to win the map before a pistol victory nearly ensured their victory. Their job was made easier by a superstar performance by Lucas "⁠destiny⁠" Bullo, who racked up 26 kills on the map.

Anubis was the decider, and the Egypt-inspired map proved to be another one-sided affair. RED Canids went 2-0 up after a pistol-round victory but could only get two more rounds on the board after that, as a rampant ODDIK ran away to a 13-6 win that keeps their Major dreams alive.
