b4rtiN: "A year ago I was playing VALORANT; I was dreaming about the place I am now"
"It's like a flame inside me, burning with happiness," b4rtiN said to describe the feeling of qualifying for the Major.

Legacy became the penultimate team to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen following a 2-1 victory over M80, becoming the fourth Brazilian team to book their ticket to Denmark.
It wasn't a clean run through the event by any means, however, with Legacy getting dominated by paiN 2-13 in their opening match before beating Nouns and MIBR to keep their Major hopes alive, with a vintage 1.77-rated performance from Marcelo "coldzera" David powering his team to a win in the latter series.
Their qualifying series versus M80 nearly went awry after the American team dominated Legacy on Overpass and led 7-2 on their own pick of Ancient, but a superb quad-kill round from Bruno "latto" Rebelatto breathed new life into the Brazilian team. 'That's when I knew that we were back in the game," Bruno "b4rtiN" Câmara told HLTV. THat round helped to power a comeback and allowed Legacy OCE to clinch victory in overtime before they closed out the series on Inferno to earn their spot at the Major.

Booking a ticket to Copenhagen is made all the more sweet for b4rtiN, who retired from Counter-Strike in 2022 to pursue a career in VALORANT, but returned to Valve's shooter in mid-2023. The 22-year-old was loaned out to RED Canids shortly after his return, but was recalled to Legacy in October in the wake of paiN's signing of Lucas "nqz" Soares and has now qualified for the Major just four months after his return.

You're qualified for the Major with a huge victory over M80. How are you feeling after getting through here?
I don't even know what I'm feeling, it's like a flame inside me, burning with happiness. I can't describe it.
You were only just recalled to this team from loan a few months ago. Coming back into this lineup, what was that experience like for you?
It was an easy choice because I love these guys, I love to be with them and play with them.
With you coming back to the team, cold was moved on to the AWP, and he's been playing quite well. Almost looks like the cold of old sometimes, like yesterday, what has it been like playing with him on the AWP and NEKIZ calling instead?
He still has a lot of experience, so he can talk to people about how we can play. This mixed with NEKIZ being the IGL is good for us because everyone can play like, one person close to cold, and people close to NEKIZ, so we can mix these things and it works.
It looked for a while during that series that you were just going to end up losing, you lost the first map and then you were down 2-7 on Ancient. Talk to me about coming back on that map and reviving in the series.
It was all about the resilience. It was a very, very hard game, we lost some key rounds and a lot of fights. They were very sharp. We took it to our team, we looked to ourselves, and we just brought it back.
There was this 4K round from latto where he did these spray transfers, and it seemed like that really reinvigorated the team, is that right?
Yes, this was the last round of the half. I was screaming a lot and that's when I knew that we were back in the game.
Your run here, you started with a 2-13 loss to paiN, and after that you won all your series. You 2-0'd MIBR and won your other two series 2-1, what was the environment like in the team after that first loss? What changed or what did you say after losing so heavily to paiN on the first day?
We knew they had a month to prepare for this match, so we knew it wasn't going to be a normal CS match. It was going to be a matchup against us. After we lost, we knew the games were going to be more like the CS that was played that you saw. After beating MIBR we got a confidence boost, and we knew we were going to get our lives into the fight.
And for you, making it back to a Major and being able to play in Copenhagen, what does that mean?
It means a lot. I think for me, a year ago I was playing VALORANT and then I came back. This feels unreal. I was dreaming about the place I am right now.
Coming back from VALORANT and coming back to Counter-Strike 2, so much had changed. What was the experience like for you with that?
It was a little bit different at the start because CS2 was not a game where I was feeling it because I had a lot of problems. But with the updates I started to like it a little bit more, and now I love it just as much as CS:GO.
