casle to attend Copenhagen Major with ECSTATIC after ban reduced by ESIC
The former Astralis coach helped ECSTATIC from home through their fairytale RMR run.

Peter "casle" Ardenskjold has successfully appealed against his ESIC ban and is now free to attend PGL Major Copenhagen.
The former Astralis skipper was among a host of coaches banned in 2020 due to exploitation of a coaching bug, and was initially banned for five Majors. Having missed the last four, he has now had his demerit point count adjusted thanks to ESIC accepting an appeal that was "out of the typical timeframe" and an independent Appeal Chair ruling in his favor.

Recently, casle has been assisting ECSTATIC with analyst work and was in the server with them as coach for the second IEM Dallas European open qualifier.
The organization's co-owner, Thomas Sinding, then confirmed on the March 12 GLHF podcast that casle had been unbanned and would attend the Major with ECSTATIC.
"Whether it will become permanent, time will tell," casle told Dust2.dk in February. "They are a team where the heart would be in the right place. I also think they have huge potential."
ECSTATIC were the only full-five man Danish lineup to qualify for their home Major after Astralis and Preasy missed out, but are among the most inexperienced teams at the event with five debutants.
ECSTATIC are:
Magnus "Nodios" Olsen
Patrick "Patti" Larsen
Jonas "Queenix" Dideriksen
Tobias "kraghen" Kragh Jensen
Jason "salazar" Salazar
Peter "casle" Ardenskjold (coach)
