GamerLegion and ECSTATIC join Major's 2-1 pool

acoR turned in an impressive display as GamerLegion made light work of Legacy.

GamerLegion and ECSTATIC are one victory away from the Elimination Stage of PGL Major Copenhagen after defeating Legacy and Lynn Vision, respectively.

The Brazilian team had ended day one with confidence high after a victory over FURIA and a close loss to Cloud9, but they were humbled in a one-sided Vertigo game in which they even won both pistol rounds.

Eduardo "⁠dumau⁠" Wolkmer powered Legacy to an early lead with a quad-kill in the pistol round in a 2v4 situation, but the game got away from the Brazilians once GamerLegion had money to work with. The European team lost just one round in the rest of the half, with Sebastian "⁠volt⁠" Maloș sitting on 14 frags at half-time.

Legacy responded by taking the ensuing pistol round, but there would be no follow-up. GamerLegion responded on a force buy and put together a string of rounds to secure the map.

The first half of the other match followed the same pattern as Lynn Vision took the pistol round with a quad-kill from Junjie "⁠EmiliaQAQ⁠" Tang but then collapsed in gun rounds. Down 3-9 at the break, the Chinese team put together a string of rounds on the T side to bring the deficit to three before ECSTATIC ran away with the game.
