Techno on eliminating Lynn Vision: "We're so friendly in-game and in life, it's sad to see"
"We have all the pressure on us," Techno added about carrying the hopes of Asia going forward.

The MongolZ are left bearing the weight of the hopes and dreams of the entire Asia region at PGL Major Copenhagen.
The Mongolian team has been on an upward trajectory in recent months, showing good form in their international excursions and firmly establishing themselves as the best team in Asia. They impressed enough with their level of play that they became decent candidates to make it out of the Opening Stage of the Major, but their fortunes went awry after two best-of-one losses on the first day immediately sent them down to the elimination pool.
The team bounced back with a victory over AMKAL on the second day of the tournament, but were then matched up against the only other Asian team in the event, Lynn Vision, in the 1-2 round. The MongolZ had won their last three matchups against the Chinese team and made it four in a row to stay alive in the Major, but it was a bittersweet win, with Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold expressing sadness for his regional friends in an interview with HLTV after the game.

You have a 2-2 record now, but you had a scary start to the Major, going down 0-2. Can you tell me about starting off like that?
The first day was really hard for us because we were a little bit uncomfortable, and we didn't find our playstyle or ourselves.
Why do you think that is?
There was a little bit of miscommunication, and a lot of mistakes we made on the first day. The Nuke game was really hard for us, we made it really hard for us. That's how we lost.
Is there any reason those mistakes were happening?
Our playstyle on these days didn't match well against them.
You were in Europe bootcamping before the Asia RMR, but after that you went back to Mongolia then came to the Major. Did that hurt you a little bit?
Not much, really. We did a little bit of a break when we came back to Mongolia, then went back to our practice and then came here.
Talking about this game a bit, you won 2-0, it wasn't very close. Tell me about the game and beating Lynn Vision four games in a row.
Honestly, it's really sad to see that we're the two Asian teams and we faced each other in the 1-2 match. One must go home and one is winning, it's really sad to see for the Asia region, for China and Mongolia. We're so friendly in-game and in life, it's sad to see.
There was a lot of love after the game, you were hugging each other after. What were you saying to each other?
They said to us, 'Good luck.' We're so close in Asia.
At the Asia RMR you also said you wanted to get three slots for Asia at the Major. That's harder now because Lynn Vision is out, so it's just you carrying those hopes. How does that feel?
We have all the pressure on us. But we shouldn't feel the pressure and just play. The last two days we found ourselves in game, the first day was really unlucky and worse.
When Majors happen, it's been common that people put Asia teams in the 0-3 spot, but this time there were a lot of people who thought you would advance. Did you feel any pressure because of that?
No, it doesn't matter for us.
Did you feel like you were favorites to advance to the next stage?
Yeah, of course we were feeling it.
Going into your next game, it's do-or-die, how do you feel about that?
We need to play the best that all of us can.
