EYEBALLERS sign Golden
The veteran Swede has found a new team mere weeks after GODSENT dropped their Counter-Strike division.

EYEBALLERS have announced the signing of Maikil "Golden" Selim after reaching an agreement with GODSENT for the player's transfer. Golden's arrival fills the gap left by the benching of Casper "SHiNE" Wennerberg, who was recently benched by EYEBALLERS after a string of disappointing results.
Golden had most recently been plying his trade for GODSENT, with whom he peaked at No. 50 in the world rankings. The team achieved some solid results in online competitions, such as their second-place finish at European Pro League Season 11, but struggled to find success in qualifiers for significant LAN events.
GODSENT recently dropped their Counter-Strike team after the team's main sponsor cancelled their agreement with the organization following the qualifiers for the PGL Major Copenhagen, in which GODSENT were unsuccessful.
In EYEBALLERS Golden reunites with former teammate Jesper "JW" Wecksell, with whom Golden played in fnatic as recently as 2021. The pair won multiple prestigious events with each other across Golden's two stints in fnatic, including IEM Katowice 2018, and twice peaked at No. 1 in the world rankings.
EYEBALLERS are now:
Jesper "JW" Wecksell
Anton "Sapec" Palmgren
Peppe "Peppzor" Borak
Ludvig "HEAP" Alonso
Maikil "Golden" Selim
Fredrik "slap" Junbrant (coach)
Casper "SHiNE" Wennerberg (benched)
