Crouch-jump bug fixed, NAVI Champions stickers released in new update

Valve has "fixed several cases of sticky collisions when jumping against surfaces" to solve a long-standing crouch-jump bug.

Classic, Holo, and Glitter versions of the autographs are also in the capsule

Valve have fixed a "sticky collision" crouch-jump bug in a post-Major update that also released Natus Vincere's Champions Autograph Capsule.

The bug was prevalent on multiple locations across the map pool, with a hot spot for it on the A site of Anubis for the jump up to Heaven.

Petr "⁠fame⁠" Bolyshev of Virtus.pro was a notable victim of it at the Major itself after failing the jump multiple times before losing the 1v2 clutch.

Outside B on Vertigo, when boosting behind the wooden wall, was also a problem, which got KOI's David "⁠dav1g⁠" Granado Bermudo into trouble at the same tournament.

Valve responded to a Reddit thread on March 22 to say that they "have not been able to reproduce" the bug but, two weeks later, have now identified the solution to the problem.

CS2's developers also used the update to congratulate Natus Vincere for their PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 triumph, and release autograph stickers for all five victorious players in a special capsule that is now available to buy in the Major Hub.

The part where they said "we couldn't replicate it" was really funny and it just further proves that they dont test/care about the game at all, that shit has been in the game since the start and there is just no way they received 0 emails/tweets in their feedback thing since the release of the maps where its the most frequent (mirage, Anubis etc) over the past 8 months right ? I personally remember seeing a lot od tweets about that jump bug before it happened in an important game like that and i couldnt go on in any anubis game without it happening at least once.

Now now, it's just that people didn't instruct how to replicate the bug. How would Valve know that players usually stick to the wall that they intend to jump onto? That's extreme secret gaming insight that they would have no clue aboit.

This is kind of a hard bug to repo though tbh. For me I've sometimes made those jumps without any issues and other times I get stuck constantly. If it is not consistent it is a lot harder to find the solution

You make it sound like VP showed up to Anubis Btw no, killing monesy when he is having a match like that is almost impossible as he's the reason G2 made it so far. Wish G2 had another consistent fragger like Monesy as NiKo does not even 1 tap like he used to in CSGO. Obviously, s1mple is another example of how forcing CS2 down our throat w/o dz and the rest of the modes is not the same

Alt tab is still bugged in several ways. Can both cause a crash, mess with your mouse settings and fuck your sound.. it's like playing a Bethesda game.

Bs, even if true. The jump bug was the most annoying thing ever. I got fucked sideways so many times I wanted to jump on anything and got stuck and came crashing down in a clutch situation. After like 5 times I started to avoid jumping in clutches... so good game you need to change your playstyle because the game doesnt work.

I swear, this major stickers with players’ signatures are soooo bad. Valve designers seem to have no idea on how to pick colors properly. It’s either the team logo or the font color being so bleak you barely see any forms and lines. This is the foundation of visual design. At this point valve just promotes stickers being used to form dick shapes on your skins instead of being applied properly…
