HAVU are back to full forth with the newcomer's addition.

HAVU's starting five is complete with the addition of Jelo

HAVU have announced their fifth after Matias "⁠Banjo⁠" Kivistö departed the team to seek new challenges in his career. The Finnish team's new signing is 24-year-old Joel "⁠Jelo⁠" Lentonen, who spent a year in JANO before this latest move.

Banjo departs HAVU

During his time with Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli and company he averaged a 0.94 rating and won two local tournaments Finnish Esports League Season 11 and Pelaajat Series Fall 2023, the latter on LAN.

HAVU will have to hit the ground running with their new signing as they are slated to play Passion UA on Thursday, April 4, in the first round of the YaLLa Compass Spring 2024 Swiss group stage.

The series against Passion UA will also mark HAVU's first match on HLTV in a month, which they will hope will be a better showing than the two 0-2 losses to Sangal and Aurora that put them out of RES Regional Series 1 Europe in 13-16th place.

I think they still have potential to get to Top 30. Atleast 10000x better than RoundsGG full of old bots who would lose to a 5 stack of HLTV shitters.

Aerial is still the best star-rifle-role finnish player. Maybe that tells more about everyone else, but still.

"top30 EASILY" Name 1 team in top30 that this team would (realistically) be better than? :O zehN - does he even play anymore? SunNy - same as above + he was really bad during the last time he was active Banjo - sure, talent but not proven yet Millert - I rarely say "who", but for real, who? Aerial - same as zehN and sunny, but he also officially stated that he retired, didnt he? (I liked Aerial when he was active - clearly underrated) I'm not saying top30 would be impossible, but easily? haha :P This team, staying together for 9 months while hard praccing each day, then after 9 months they'd have potential to break into top30 for the first time I'd say

Yea, Aerial did retire and sunny+zehn probably just dont have any offers. Any finnish roster should with any ambition should be built around banjo but i hope he goes international for now. There isnt players of his caliber available from Finland right now.

zehN is LFT and has been practicing IGL SunNy is also LFT and he has firepower Banjo would be stupid not to be included in a team with FREE agents Millert was in Sprout Academy, he is a young talent and I believe he deserves a chance since he is FREE. Of course Lynxi is also an option but I would rather see Millert get a chance first. Aerial said he would retire because sleep problems but he was a stand in after that for Jano and he still plays Faceit IMO. I guess if there was a decent enough team he would comeback. Name other players you would rather build the team with? There are none.

This is actually good for Finnish scene if Banjo ends up to a international team that has more potential for growth. Havu was wrong place for young talent like Banjo.
