TheMongolz qualify for ESL Challenger Jönköping
The Mongolian team will be Asia's representative at the Counter-Strike event held during the DreamHack Festival in Jönköping.

The two en-vogue teams in Asia continue to make headway as the ones to beat in the region, although once again it was The MongolZ who came out on top against Lynn Vision to qualify for ESL Challenger Jönköping.
The Mongolians doubled down after their recent PGL Major Copenhagen victory over their Chinese friends in a match-up that is becoming a regional classic as the two have now played each other four times this year with the Mongolians coming out as the victors every time.
The MongolZ punched their ticket to Sweden going through the hard route as they were stunned by LYG in the first round of the closed qualifier's four-team double-elimination bracket. After taking out ATOX and getting revenge on LYG, they went up against Lynn Vision for all of the marbles.
The Chinese squad looked poised to take their first map off of The MongolZ in 2024 after the first half, a 6-6 tie on their Overpass pick, which they started on the harder attacking side. Zhe "Westmelon" Niu and his men failed to close it out on the CT side despite bringing an 8-11 deficit to 11-11 before losing the final two rounds.
The two teams kept it close and exciting in the first half of Ancient, and once again went into the half 6-6, but The MongolZ once again pulled ahead, this time on the CT side of their map pick, to claim the series and spot at ESL Challenger Jönköping.
