Gaimin Gladiators sign ECSTATIC's roster in return to CS

The North American organization has secured the services of the Danish lineup.

The Danish squad will represent Gaimin Gladiators moving forward

Gaimin Gladiators has announced its return to Counter-Strike by acquiring ECSTATIC's Danish lineup. The Canadian organization, known for its DOTA2 team, had briefly made an incursion in CS:GO by signing a North American squad for five months in 2022.

In the team formerly playing for ECSTATIC, Gaimin Gladiators have signed a breakout squad that reached the top 20 in the world ranking at the beginning of April after a surprising run at the Major in Copenhagen.

Not only were ECSTATIC the only full Danish team on home soil, they exceeded expectations by clearing the Opening Stage with a 3-1 record as they beat Imperial, Lynn Vision, and The MongolZ after an opening loss to Cloud9.

Losses to Cloud9 and MOUZ made it a tough start at the Elimination Stage, but they still got FURIA's scalp before being eliminated by G2.

The Danes will now start a new chapter in Gaimin Gladiators as they seek to build on the success that catapulted them into the limelight in Copenhagen.

Gaimin Gladiators are currently competing in several online competitions with hopes of returning to LAN, namely Thunderpick World Championship 2024 EU Closed Qualifier 1, Elisa Invitational Spring 2024, and CCT Global Finals 2024.

I'm assuming he is respected he used that site and his own money as a passion project by creating his own cs team which is something worth respecting, well imo at least. Wonder how much they sold the squad for. Anyways it has been ECSTATIC's model to build a team and sell when they are at their peak (Ex. FASHR). Wonder who is going to lead the next team. Could bring back goatfromsky to rebuild the squad. Even could sign the Ex-Preasy guys + acor but maybe they want too much salary and danish scene is deep could get youngsters instead.
