"IEM Chengdu - Honeymoon or promising Astralis?" please dont waste too much time on this. We ALL know it, asstralis motivated as fuck no officials in daaaaays, vs the most fatigued human beings on planet earth, and yet they still bombed out I dont wanna hear anything about astralis, sure would have been cool if they won, as they should have, but they didnt, and they will not going forward. Lets first see how they do vs top20 teams that are well rested and prepared.

B1ad3 is probably the biggest nerd in the game since like 2014 at least. Really shows how the grind pays off long term. Use your brain, apply yourself and you can make it at the very top.

He might be the shit, but I wish his English skills were better. Trying to explain complicated stuff without an actual vocabulary just makes it nonsensical, it constantly things and these things and these things. I just give up and tune out

It's always like this, if you are not used to other people speaking English that good it's very hard to stay with it because you get annoyed very fast. But you have to remember that in Ukraine English isn't the second language you learn like in most European countries. I got the same thing, but if you can put yourself over it, you can enjoy it a bit more. Else just watch 15/30 min every time and take a break, it's sometimes better too so you have better focus overall, watching a CS stream for 2/3 hours is very difficult because at some point you just lose interest.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, I’ve tried it’s not like this was his first interview. When you have to infer rather than listen I’m out. Who is to say that my interpretation of his meaning is even correct, so why bother if what I take away might not even be what he is trying to say. It’s not as if I can ask any questions to clarify meaning or whatnot

His English is good enough to win a major with it. So how good is your English?

I know he is a good coach, what I’m saying is this: he is not able to convey that in English in a manner that’s interesting or coherent to me. And how good is my English, well I’d say in the top 15% of a country that’s always in the top 5 when it comes to English Proficiency. But this bares no relevancy when it comes to whether B1AD3 makes sense to me or not. When he uses the same words for what player A, B and C are doing even though they are doing different things - things get to muddled for me.

I watched the whole VOD and to a degree I agree with you, he sometimes cant really stick to the point because he cant express himself the way he wants. Kinda makes you wonder how he manages to stay so on point as a coach. But the problem I do have is different. When I read some hltv articles / forums, it is always so broad when talking about teams. The number one word that annoys me is "system". " We need to build a "system". Okay, but what does that really mean? If only people gave examples of that. The term is so broad and I cant really imagine anything particular, so everytime somebody mentions this I dont really know what they refer to. Gotta say he is quite funny though, even if maybe not intentionally :D

In short: it's a gameplay combination of steps and actions on a map for the whole team to get as much profit as possible depending on economy of both teams. How you clear angles, which positions should be controlled in priority, after which enemy actions is more profitable to play some specific scenario.

Sure, I have no doubt he is sharp as a whip and he struggles to get it out in a non native tongue. I used to have a Chinese lady doing acupuncture. She was a medical doctor and she was doing her p.hd. (can’t remember what it was in). But her Danish was so bad and you could she the frustration in her eyes cuz she had a ton to say but not the words. Again never doubted she knew what she was taking about, but what she actually said didn’t make much sense…

Am really looking forward for this one, I really want to hear how it is working under AleskiB. Because AleskiB praised him so much at the major. And it isn't a fluke run, they played like a team and its still a team game, they maybe aren't the best team but they played like the best team in the major. Now hopefully they can continue on this path and don't let it be fluke like VP

You can tell na’vi were working hard for this just based on this interview. I can also agree that you really can’t fluke a major. People use that term too loosely.
