ESL Pro League Season 19FaZe relegate VP to Group A Last Chance Stage
Virtus.pro have not set the world alight in their debut with electroNic.
FaZe have sent Virtus.pro down to the Last Chance Stage at ESL Pro League thanks to a 2-0 victory over the Russian squad, wins on Vertigo (13-10) and Mirage (13-4) getting the job done.
Virtus.pro will begin their journey in the Last Chance bracket against the loser of Eternal Fire vs. fnatic, whilst FaZe will fight for a playoff berth in the lower final against the winner of that game.

Virtus.pro's debut with Denis "electroNic" Sharipov among their number has been thoroughly underwhelming thus far, their 2-0 win over SAW doing little to dispel the doubts raised by a shock loss to fnatic and today's meek defeat by FaZe. Virtus.pro's T sides were ponderous and lacking punch, their individuals failed to match FaZe's, and they were ultimately well beaten.
electroNic himself has shown brief flashes of the brilliance he is capable of, in particular during the decider against fnatic where he was the only player offering serious resistance, but there is work to do across the team as a whole if they are to match the hype electroNic's signing garnered.
FaZe meanwhile have brushed off their loss to Astralis quickly, with the dynamic duo of Helvijs "broky" Saukants and David "frozen" Čerňanský leading the way. A mention should go to Finn "karrigan" Andersen for this series victory over Virtus.pro: The Danish IGL was potent with his T-side entry work to ensure the win on Vertigo and prevent Virtus.pro grinding out a result.
Whether fnatic or Eternal Fire make it to the lower final, FaZe will be favorites to seal a playoff berth and continue their excellent record in CS2.
