UPDATE: Apeks have confirmed that the entire roster has been placed on the transfer list. Anders Kjær, the organization's COO, stressed that Apeks "remain committed to building a CS team that can compete with the best, and the club is excited for the opportunities this rebuild represents."

Apeks is set to enter a rebuilding phase by listing its whole roster on the transfer market, HLTV has learned from several sources with knowledge of the situation who wish to remain anonymous.

The Norwegian organization will therefore jump ahead of the market's busy period in the off-season by entertaining offers for all of its players immediately.

One exception is Martin "⁠STYKO⁠" Styk, who was brought on a temporary contract after losing his spot on the roster at the end of 2023, and is instead becoming a free agent.

The Slovakian rifler said that he felt "relieved to be escaping the atmosphere" in the team and that they had "put many bandaids on serious problems instead of fixing them," which was the main reason the team was falling apart.

The news comes after the team went 1-3 at the Major's Opening Stage, failed to make it through several online qualifiers, and were knocked out of ESL Challenger Melbourne in the semi-finals by MIBR with the added pain of losing the decider map 0-13.

Apeks are still in the ESL Challenger League, slated to play System5 on May 14, and were recently invited to MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024, but it remains to be seen whether they will manage to fulfill their duties at all competitions depending on the interest elicited by the listed players.

Apeks will put the following players and coach on the market:
