Chinggis Warriors qualify for MESA Nomadic Masters Spring

The Mongolian team will get to play at the international event on home soil.

Zilkenberg and company secured the spot on LAN over IHC

Chinggis Warriors have been crowned MESA Pro Series Spring champions after beating IHC 2-1 in the tournament's final, and with that victory have secured a spot at MESA Nomad Masters Spring.

The Mongolian team will join The MongolZ, Gaimin Gladiators, OG, Lynn Vision, and BLEED, as well as Apeks if the Norwegian organization — who recently transfer-listed their squad — can field a team, at the $100,000 LAN in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on May 28-June 2.

Chinggis Warriors' qualification also marks the return of Temuulen "⁠Zilkenberg⁠" Battulga to the international stage. The 33-year-old was a household name when The MongolZ broke out in 2016 and played at events such as IEM Katowice and IEM Oakland.

One more spot is up for grabs at MESA Nomadic Masters Spring, which will go to the winner of one more local qualifier, the MESA Pro Series Finals. The qualifying LAN will take place on May 14-18 in Ulaanbaatar.
