What an absolutely mammoth performance by Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek, he led from the front to ensure an easy ride on Ancient for his team.

Complexity had so many chances to win more rounds in this series, but found ways to throw them. siuhy's 1v4 shouldn't have happened, multiple rounds on Nuke could have gone the other way, and Complexity will feel they beat themselves to some degree today, at least on Nuke.

Make no mistake, however, MOUZ were good value for their win. siuhy was insane on Ancient, Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás and Dorian "xertioN" Berman had a fantastic Nuke, and now they can look forward to a grand final bout with Vitality.

Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek was an absolute menace towards Cave and Lane throughout the whole CT half, making Complexity pay a dear price any time they tried to contest that control.

Even when Complexity's fast-paced T side went elsewhere they ran into a brick wall, such that they only mustered a single round after their initial flurry.

Four rounds is at least workable for Complexity, but a lot will ride on the second pistol.

Europe MOUZ 7-3 United States Complexity

Complexity started well off the back of a pistol win, but once MOUZ got their economy under control, they started to dominate.

MOUZ have been taking very forward stances on their defense, fighting aggressively in Middle and towards Cave and finding great success.

Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás produced some beautiful Scout shots to get his team on map point, but Complexity had a little more fight left in them. It wasn't enough considering the hole they found themselves in.

Complexity were granted winnable situations throughout this map, thanks largely to some heroic Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski efforts, but they found ways to fumble them more often than not.

It got very brawly and hectic towards the end, but MOUZ get the job done and send us to Ancient.

Europe MOUZ 11-5 United States Complexity

Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás is having a cracker of a game and he just came up trumps once again, this time on the pistol round.

Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski is trying his best and is creating chances to win rounds, but Complexity just aren't doing enough around him.

Europe MOUZ 8-4 United States Complexity

Complexity started their CT side poorly only for Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski to bail them out with some stellar multi-kills out towards Yard.

MOUZ wrestled back control and were the better side throughout the half, but they still needed Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás to bail them out of a tough spot when Complexity's Lobby crunch with pistols made things dicey.

Europe MOUZ 4-4 United States Complexity

Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski is putting Complexity onto his back right now. His team have started the CT side poorly but he just produced multi-kills in several rounds to haul them back into the map.

Europe MOUZ 8-13 United States Complexity

Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli said in an interview with Pley.gg that he felt this EPL might be make or break for his future with Complexity, but he's earned his keep on Vertigo.

The Norwegian was vital in Complexity's T-side resurgence, and also put up some strong holds at Ramp to ensure victory.

idk, both col and mouz are the kind of teams that could just "disconnect" all of the sudden, i can't see any of them beating neither ast or vita... but then again inconsistency is the problem that plagues nearly every team these days

idk I don't vibe with vitality either, especially apex, I've seen him around for 10 years and that's respectable af but he's just that kind of person I'd hate being around, zywoo is just an amazing player and I love seeing him playing, best to ever touch the game, but he's just too quiet and emotionless and the rest are kinds of dudes I can't even remember that they're there sometimes not to hate on anyone btw, it's just my opinion like any other

COL-mouz could be a banger if COL players show up... I expect vitality beat Astralis but it might not be that easy.

Who would've thought that devve taking IGL mantle is what would make Astralis competitive again. Although i still don't believe in them vs Vitality.

Surprisingly enough - apart from Navi (who choked quite badly) I somehow see Astralis being the only team capable of stopping Vita

The whole team didn’t perform, so it’s either igl or coach mistake, I would say both. Apex has mental issues, he’s often unnecessarily agitated, and this isn’t good for himself or his team. There are way better igls than him

That happens. They had off day, this was generally a thing even with zonic. Just that they had more firepower with Magisk

The fact is that they are not as constant anymore as with zonic, Katowice they went missing whole tournament this time it was “just” the final

Magisk and zonic was key part of Vitality obviously. They still have it, just that psychologically and maybe in terms of role efficiency they are lacking now.

It’s just that mezzi isn’t anchor player stuff he changed roles for that, it’s just nonsense. I’m curious whose genius idea that was to bring a player for anchor who isn’t an anchor. And yea they have obvious mental problems but with Zonic he used to counter apex’s problems now he’s just on a rampage and nobody will stop him, his mentality is just outdated for any competitive game today, nobody needs a Primadonna.

I don't think i meant that. Vitality problem comes with motivation and mood rather than apEX bashing or smth
2024-05-15 14:59

It’s the same issue. Apex and coach are responsible for the mood there, if they can’t motivate them to play a grand final the team has deep issues.
2024-05-15 21:58

The mood affects them more in Group stages, the finals seemed to be weird off game that just put them out of concentration. That could be something completely different like schedule. Perhaps they might have Friday off (from practice) for example

Excuses, these things don’t matter for pro gamers. If you can’t perform in a fucking grand final you’re just terrible for whatever reason does never matter. And again it’s probably the fault of psychologists coach and igl. Apex is generally mid and carried by star players
