fame: "We need to keep the balance between our play style and those [faster] things"
The Russian rifler says Virtus.pro need to wait until the player break to do a full bootcamp.

After securing the blockbuster signing of Denis "electroNic" Sharipov, Virtus.pro had a steady start to life with their new addition. While they made the playoffs at ESL Pro League S19, losses to fnatic and Complexity have shown that they still have some work to do.
Their opener at BetBoom Dacha was far more convincing, however, as they dispatched a lackluster Falcons side in two maps to earn a qualification match against MOUZ.
After his team won their first match at the Serbian tournament, Petr "fame" Bolyshev joined HLTV to talk about electroNic's integration into the team, their lack of practice, and their expectations for BetBoom Dacha.
You started the tournament with a win. How was the game from your perspective?
From my perspective, the game was not easy. It was hard on Vertigo, super hard. We were losing, we were making a comeback, and it was such a hard map. On Mirage, it was easier, but it was still a little bit shaky in the beginning, but then we kind of snowballed them. I'm very happy that we won the first match, it's a nice start to the tournament for us, and I'm looking forward to playing MOUZ.
This is your second tournament with electronic. How has he settled into your team and your system?
It's a hard question because we didn't have a lot of time to practice before ESL Pro League and this tournament. In some moments we have to play on the fly because we didn't have time to discuss some things, but I think he's doing great. As every team in the world, we have our own problems. We're trying to fix them, and I'm just hoping for the best.
n0rb3r7 previously said that maybe electronic sometimes wants to play a bit faster than VP is used to. Is it a problem when someone wants to play a bit faster and someone a bit slower?
I think it's not the problem, but sometimes we can lose some rounds, some anti-eco or anti-force rounds because of that. But overall, I like it because it's better for me when some guy like electronic can call some things which people don't expect, and we win rounds. I think for me, it's better, but we need to keep the balance between our play style and those [faster] things.
How long do you think this team needs to reach its full potential?
I don't know how long it will take, I just hope for the best. We still have three tournaments in a row and almost no time between them, and I think we will only have a chance to get a full bootcamp after these three tournaments, after the player's break.
You've won the first game here, so what are your expectations for this tournament?
I always want to win every tournament that I'm playing. For me, it's going to be interesting to face teams like MOUZ or Spirit that are very strong and are winning tier-one tournaments. It's always a hard game versus them, and I like to face them to get more experience. It's going to be an interesting match against MOUZ, and, of course, our goal is always to win.
