After a long period of underwhelming results, 500 has opted to make changes.

CeRq returns to playing with his countrymen

500 have announced the signings of Tsvetelin "⁠CeRq⁠" Dimitrov and Blagoi "⁠oxygeN⁠" Dimitrov, who will replace Denislav "⁠dennyslaw⁠" Dimitrov and Hristiyan "⁠REDSTAR⁠" Pironkov in the starting lineup.

REDSTAR has already found his next home, having joined international project 5W, whilst 500 stated that dennyslaw is "now seeking new opportunities."

500 have experienced mixed fortunes so far over 2024, picking up a top placing at RES Season 6 early in the year but waning since. They have largely struggled in online competition, even flopping several qualifiers for CCT events, and barely sport a 50% win rate over the past three months.

The team has now opted for changes, bringing in CeRq from BLEED and oxygeN from Entropiq, both of whom were sat on the bench for their respective teams.

BLEED announce CeRq signing

CeRq returned to competitive play with BLEED in December 2023 after over a year without a team, the Bulgarian having opted to take a break after the end of his ill-fated stint with Evil Geniuses.

BLEED experienced little success early in their lifetime and although results improved as time went on, CeRq's underwhelming performances ensured he was one of the first on the chopping block when changes had to be made. He made way for Tim "⁠nawwk⁠" Jonasson, who was signed from Apeks.

oxygeN spent the better part of the last year playing for Entropiq alongside the likes of Tizian "⁠tiziaN⁠" Feldbusch. The 21-year-old maintained a respectable individual level during his stint on Entropiq (1.04 rating) but the team found little success, their best return being a second-place finish at European Pro League Season 10 early on in their lifetime. Results had gone particularly sour recently, with the team's win rate over three months dropping to around 40%.

Unfortunately grashog is still on the roster. 500 won't achieve anything 4v5... Replacement is needed for that dude, because he is basically dogshit in every aspect of the game. -grashog +kaluber = stable t2 team with enough given time.

SPELLAN is pretty experienced in the game and he can call. Also shipz is in the scene for more than 10 years now, he can also call, but i'd assume he want's to frag instead of calling... even though I think he is good enough to do both.

Evil Geninous/the online era broke him. He was nuts back then but even in BLEED he has been a shadow of his former self. Hopefully he regains his form (I doubt it) with his countryman but he most likely than not will become XELLOW 2.0 by farming online cups and probably getting involved in some shady stuff...

He was nuts both in EG and NRG too, but when EG started struggling after tarik etc he's just been spiraling downwards, he was such a joy to watch when he was a star awper, true game-changer back then on par with the top awpers in the scene

Bulgarian Powerhouse incoming, but just wondering, there is no better player than grashog?

Problem is if you don't get grashog to igl, shipz has to igl. I think with these changes roles are much better and shipz can be more of a playmaker/aggro lurker and rainwaker can be 3rd guy in the pack supporting and clutching. No real IGL options.

Grashog is Polish-Bulgarian IGL, he was playing with TaZ, Neo in Honoris and others. He was coaching 500 before stepping up as a IGL. IDK why people hate on him (just HLTV things I guess) but this new lineup looks fire, hope they can make it to some T1 events.
